ATTRACTIVE GILT MINIATURE BOOK / PHOTO ALBUM.  


A very tiny photo album (2 x 2 cm) in the shape of a book. Composed entirely of gilt metal, it opens to display 4 "pages" - actually metal picture frames containing 4 miniature photograph portraits within (a fashionable woman and three soldiers). Original clasp present. Both binding and photos date from around the second half of the 19th century.
