This book is an autobiographical novel set in the glamorous cultural milieu of the1970s Los Angeles, a vibrant scene that included leading figures in art, music, film, and literature, entertainment tycoons, as well as an assortment of bohemians, junkies, surfers, and party people. Author’s third book, following Eve’s Hollywood (1974), and Slow Days Fast Company (1977). Eve Babitz is the essential LA writer, her prose style is seductive, sensual and intimate, literary, and evocative.
